The merger of Medtronic and Covidien, two global medical device manufacturers, created the need for effective and consistent communications with patients, healthcare professionals, administrators, and governments to provide a more comprehensive portfolio of devices in a cost effective yet streamlined manner. Razorfish stepped in to define UX, platform, development and launch strategies to rebrand and create the future of Medtronic’s digital properties, which span more than 600 websites and 300 social media accounts across 100 countries and 48 languages. Although early in the project lifecycle, the clients are extremely pleased with the work and expect to meet the goals of the engagement through future state vision, technology recommendations, audience definitions, branding, site experience, and design.
